Upload a logo to the neon maker
Choose logo mode in the designer and upload the artwork. The tool accepts SVG and PNG files for previewing. It does not automatically transmit the file to a supplier; you choose whether to download the design and upload it with a quote request.
Use the live preview to compare the logo against different colours, dimensions and acrylic shapes. Review it in both day and night mode because the unlit backboard may be more visible during business hours.
Prepare the best logo artwork
Vector SVG is ideal because it scales cleanly. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background also works for concept review. Crop unused space so the visible artwork fills the uploaded canvas.
Remove photographic effects, hairline details and unnecessary background shapes. Gradients and shadows normally need to become solid illuminated lines or non-lit printed elements before fabrication. Keep a copy of the original brand file for comparison.
Simplify complex logos without losing identity
Some logos need small production changes, such as opening a tight counter, thickening a fine line or separating touching strokes. Preserve the distinctive silhouette, spacing and primary colour so the result remains recognisable.
Decide which parts must glow. A logo does not always need every outline illuminated. Emphasising the wordmark or one icon can produce a cleaner sign than tracing every detail.
Choose logo colour and dimensions
A brand colour may look different when produced as LED neon and viewed against a wall. Compare the closest available colour in day and night mode, then ask the supplier to confirm the production colour before ordering.
Size the logo according to its smallest important detail. A wide mark with a tiny tagline may need to be larger than expected, or the tagline may need to be removed. Mark the finished footprint on the installation wall before approval.
Choose the acrylic treatment
Cut-to-shape creates a discreet outline around the logo. A rectangle or circle makes the backboard a visible design element. Clear acrylic blends into most walls; black, white, silver or gold can add deliberate contrast.
Logos with separate elements may require bridges or a larger backboard for support. Ask the supplier where those supports and mounting holes will appear in the final production proof.
Download and request a logo sign quote
Download the preview after checking the selected colour, dimensions, backing and installation options. Upload it with the original vector logo on the supplier’s quote form when available.
The supplier should return a production proof showing any necessary simplification. Compare that proof with the approved brand artwork, then confirm the price, warranty, delivery and mounting details before checkout.
Questions people ask
Can I create a new logo with the neon logo maker?
The tool is designed to preview existing artwork as a neon sign. Create the logo separately, then upload an SVG or transparent PNG.
What file is best for a neon logo sign?
SVG is preferred because it scales cleanly. A high-resolution transparent PNG also works for the initial preview.
Will every part of my logo glow?
Not necessarily. Complex logos often work better when the main wordmark or icon is illuminated and secondary details are simplified.
Can I download the neon logo preview?
Yes. Download a PNG or SVG concept, then upload it yourself when requesting a supplier quote.
